Movie Sequels

June 8, 2007
Tis’ the year to watch sequels, lalalalala, lalalala…
Heh. Its true. This year is full of sequels of movies. They are Spider-man 3, Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Shrek 3, and Ocean’s Thirteen.

In Spider-man 3, Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his duties as a superhero and life as a student. But trouble is brewing fast, when this new black suit that appears enhances his abilities. Spider-man must choose between the power of the black suit or be the compassionate hero he once was, as venom and sandman gain unparalleled power to bring New York to its knees.

In Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End, the pirates are forced to join forces to battle their enemies, Davey Jones and Cutler Beckett, who have taken a united stand in wiping the pirates off the face of the earth.

The Fantastic Four have to deal with the mysterious Silver Surfer who prepares the earth for their impending doom and the unexpected return of Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Opening June 14th.

These are only the few I know. I’m sure there’s going to be other sequels. One other movie that might be interesting is Transformers. The CG is great but I really hope the storyline isn’t crap.

Here’s a picture that’s just crazy cool
These are the movies to catch this year.
Woohoo!
Bring out the popcorn!

Its the opening day of Spiderman 3 in cinemas’ across Singapore! With the first 2 movies a brilliant success, this third sequel is expected to break box-office records like nothing before. Running at 140 minutes, nearly half the production money was used in the creation of CG effects.

In Spiderman 3, Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his superhero life and his personal life. He is going to ask Mary Jane to marry him, with the knowledge that she knows he is Spiderman. The city has finally accepted Spiderman as a hero. Everything is going well, but things change when he gets a little too much of himself. The sandman, who was revealed to Peter as his uncle’s true killer, terrorizes the city. Harry Osborn, son of the green goblin and Peter’s best friend goes all out to avenge his father.

What will happen? Catch the movie in theatres, opening today.

Boring Satisfaction

March 17, 2007

Singapore Polytechnic sent us an envelope. Inside it was a lot of stuff. Such as offer letter, and Interbank Giro crap. There was just so much to read. Us, poor, poor students opting for polytechnic and we get so much stuff to send back to them. Yes, we have to mail back most of the stuff they mailed to us. All this, just for enrolment. Everything is just so messy. Kinda very frustrating.

Not been blogging regularly because I was too bored and lazy. Stupid excuse, but its true. When you’re bored and feeling lazy, there’s not much inspiration. None at all really. Boredom reigns. Heck, its so dominating me, I wouldn’t mind going back to school immediately.

(I know, this scares you students out there, but when you see it from my point of view, you’ll be begging for the holidays to end)

Its still a while before Spider-man 3 comes to theatres. But this Spider-man 3 preview should keep fans like me satisfied for the moment before it really makes its grand entrance. Check it out!

The award goes to… Oh, you read the rest… I get so nervous over these things… I watched the 13th Screen Actors Guild Awards… And one of the awards went to House! He got the best actor in a series award, and I feel that he definitely deserves it.

Grey’s Anatomy got some pretty good awards too. The whole cast won the award for best ensemble in a series and one of their actresses, whose name in the show is Doctor Bailey, won best supporting actress. I’d have to say Grey’s Anatomy is a good show. Its emotional and quite humorous. But I don’t always have much of a clear picture of what’s going on because I don’t follow the show much.

House(Season 2) ended. It happened a while ago. Didn’t have the heart to blog about it. Sniff. It was one of the best serials ever on TV. They’re filming Season 3 now, which I hope will come soon to Singapore. I also watched X-men 3 recently and found it to be a total disappointment. Their elaboration on each character is so meagre. There are so few scenes on the powers of the different mutants.
