Singapore won the bid for the Youth Olympics 2010! Head-to-head with moscow, just an hour and a half ago, the winner was announced that Singapore will host the 2010 Youth Olympics!
The 2 final bids of Singapore and Moscow were $75 million and $175 million. And Singapore won! Its all so surreal. I feel really proud of Singapore. The plans they have for the games are really amazing.
I really want to train up and play tennis professionally, but its so difficult. I’ve got to balance studies and tennis, among other things. I want to play for something big, you know. That’s kinda my ambition now. Sigh.
I went to play tennis at SP today. Kelvin and some other of my tennis friends were there too. And I SUCKED. I mean, I really beyond sucked. I couldn’t hit my backhands well, and my forehand was still lousy as ever. We played singles matches and I came up last among us four. Scored only one point. Serious bummer of the day. I guess it had something to do with my stomach, causing the inability to focus and concentrate. That is a major drawback. In tennis, it is really important to focus on the ball, if not, the whole game. And I couldn’t. I was just sluggish the whole time.
Note to self: FOCUS!!!
